Music videos from Cornwall’s psychedelic folk-rock seven-piece—fifteen years of Hanterhir on film, in English and Cornish.

All of these videos were made by some very special people, so thank you to Stephen Taylor, some students whose names we’ve forgotten, Chris Stephens, Mawgan Lewis and Savannah Dunstan.

Hanterhir on Screen

Since 2009, Hanterhir have been capturing their sound on film—from early lo-fi recordings made in Redruth to atmospheric promos for the critically acclaimed rock opera The Saving of Cadan, and live footage from the 2025 UK tour supporting Hawkwind at venues including the Birmingham Symphonia and Gateshead Glasshouse.

These videos document a band shaped by the Cornish landscape: windswept clifftops, ancient mining country, Methodist chapels, and the ever-present Atlantic. Shot by collaborators including Stephen Taylor, Chris Stephens, Mawgan Lewis, and Savannah Dunstan, they trace the evolution from a four-piece to today’s seven-strong line-up—blending folk, prog, post-punk, and space rock, sung in both English and Kernewek.

Whether you’re new to Hanterhir or revisiting favourites like Hello Sunshine, Darallow, or Schizophrenia, there’s over a decade of psychedelic Cornish rock to explore.
